Single channel video, 20m21s, 2007

Synopsis: A man try to document the damages caused by a catastrophe that struck the place where he live. His work and his social position are compromised. He had to entrust his own abilities to react. A sleep inducing software suggest to calm down and to follow a routine of actions. The man's and software's voices, two different way to react to the situation, were picked up in an environment that show the effect of a trauma and the attempts to revise it.

Going to sleep is something absolutely certain in life is a sound editing above a continuos video sequence. The sound environment was complitely rebuilt by a sound designer.

The voices are: Pedro Rodriguez, an insurance man that document the damages caused by hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. Michael Breen, the sleep inducer software (www.pzizz.com) voice, through NLP tecnics (Neuro-linguistic programmation).

The video sequence is a camera-car, shoot in Biloxi, Mississippi, four months after the hurricane katrina transit.
